At Mahaska Health, an Paramedic will administer basic and advanced life support care to sick and injured persons in the pre-hospital setting under the direction of the Emergency Department Physician/EMS Medical Director consistent with state and local protocols. Performs continuation of care and observation during inter-facility patient transfers per the direction of the responsible physician. Mahaska Ambulance is the only advanced-level ambulance service in Mahaska County. This position fulfills the role of a Paramedic in the ambulance, assists with patient care in the ED, acts as the first line of security assistance, responds to in-house codes, and performs IV starts and airway management.   $10,000 Sign on Bonus   Open Hours: Full-time: 7:00am - 7:00pm + On-Call
