Job Description:

Hours: Full-time, exempt, primarily day shift (some night and weekend).

Requirements:  A.A. degree or equivalent experience in computer science,   Management Information Systems or other health information technology.

Responsibilities: Manage new and existing organizational software systems including user support, system upgrades and change management.  Manage new project installations; facilitate process change, system training and ongoing support. Impeccable customer service skills and the ability to multi task are required.

Essential Job Functions:  Responsible for coordinating activities to establish and maintain communication with all system end users in order to address information technology needs and understanding of use and best practices.  Provides end user support of new and existing technology tools and processes.  Documents processes and procedures related to operational tasks performed.  Participate/lead various IT systems optimization and ongoing quality review of user compliance.  Serves as a change management resource and partners with department leaders and staff in workflow development and support of technology software systems.  Analyze end user requests to design, document, and configure applications implementing these items where needed individually or part of a project team.  Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software systems.  Analyze and evaluate present or proposed business procedures or problems to identify potential technology application areas.  Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems.  Write and maintain system documentation and training curriculum as needed.  Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts.  Participates in the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with organizational leaders, end-users, IT team, and IT Director.  Provide on-call technical support as determined by the Information Technology Directory.

Job Requirements: Knowledge of various computer hardware and software configurations and use of software programs in the development and presentation of information.  Knowledge of technology systems analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation principles and techniques.  Skilled in departmental and organizational project management, operations of enterprise software applications and systems, writing reports, letter, memos, and presentations in an understandable and logical format, and communicating logically and accurately in oral and written forms.  Ability to manage and track multiple projects, make decisions and implement course of action, and organize schedule, and prioritize work.  Experience producing technical documentation, in organizing and facilitation of raining and curriculum development via effective presentations.  Skilled in extracting and analyzing data in support of IT systems optimization, process improvement or projects as needed.  Ability to react to frequent changes in duties and volume of work.  Ability to acquire and assimilate new knowledge and skills quickly.
