Job Description:

Mahaska Health Partnership, Oskaloosa, Iowa, is seeking a Director of Human Resources to join our team. This full-time, exempt position will report to the CEO and be part of the Executive team engaging, planning and providing leadership in the strategic direction of Mahaska Health Partnership.

Requirements: To be successful in this position you must have the knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelors degree in HRM, Business Administration or related field and a minimum of 5 years progressive HR generalist experience. Candidates must have employee relations experience and a thorough understanding of federal and state employment law. High professional standards regarding customer service, confidentiality and quality of work are a must.

Preferences: Master’s degree and prior experience in healthcare. SHRM certification is highly desired.

Responsibilities: The Director of Human Resources will serve as the administrator of a comprehensive human resources program coordinating policies and directing all human resources activities including but not limited to; recruitment, retention, compensation, employee relations, benefits, worker’s compensation, OSHA compliance, training, educational and volunteer services.
