Palliative Care
Palliative care is specialized medical care designed to provide relief from symptoms, pain, and stress associated with serious illness and focuses on enhancing the quality of life for patients and their families through comprehensive support addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs. Palliative care is available to anyone with a serious illness, including heart, liver, lung diseases, dementia, or cancer. It can start as soon as your illness is diagnosed and can be provided alongside curative or life-prolonging treatments.
